The annual KIWANIS MUSIC FESTIVAL is a competitive event which provides an opportunity for hundreds of our area music students to hone their skills, showcase their talent and gain confidence in their abilities through performance. Its purpose is to nurture, encourage and support our youth in both their personal and artistic development.

HISTORY OF THE FESTIVAL

 The festival movement has flourished in Canada for over 85 years and in Windsor since 1946. The Windsor festival is one of 245 festivals that take place in Canada each year. It provides our senior winners with the opportunity to advance to the Provincial and finally to the National level if they are successful. Since 1998, the festival is an independent corporation with a Board of Directors made up of the members of the Windsor, Roseland and Windsor East Kiwanis Clubs. Funding for the festival is through donations and festival entry fees, if you would like to contribute send a cheque or money order to:
